“Connecting with other caregivers in this course has been invaluable. Sharing our challenges and insights, alongside the support from Baha and Margaret, makes all the difference. Their genuine care and follow-up reflect their love and commitment. The course made me feel I am not alone in this caregiving journey. Most importantly, it reaffirms that God is always with us, never abandoning us. This group truly made an impact.”

Watch And Learn

Once you have your Self-Study Guide, watch related videos and share what you learn.

1. About Caregiving Roles

Caregiving often begins unexpectedly and quickly grows into many responsibilities. This lesson helps caregivers understand the different roles they may take on, the emotions they may experience, and how faith, support, and perspective can bring strength and meaning to the caregiving journey

2. Navigating Relational Conflict

Conflict is a natural part of caregiving. This lesson helps caregivers understand the reasons behind disagreements and learn how patience, listening, respectful communication, and faith can turn conflict into opportunities for deeper understanding and stronger relationships.

3. Overcoming Burnout

Caregiving can lead to gradual exhaustion and burnout if stress, isolation, and unmet needs go unrecognized. This lesson helps caregivers spot warning signs, accept help, care for their health, and rely on faith to maintain strength and resilience.

4. Making Peace With Reality

Uncertainty is the only certainty in a caregiver’s journey. This lesson helps caregivers prepare for unexpected challenges, navigate healthcare systems, manage emotions like grief, anger, and guilt, and rely on faith, support, and organization to face each day with confidence.

5. Building Resilience

Caregiving is a long-term marathon requiring steadfast resilience. This lesson teaches practical ways to build strength through diet, activity, sleep, help, relationships, hope, and faith, so caregivers can continue serving with patience, energy, and emotional balance.

6. Help When You Need it

Finding the right help is a challenge. This lesson emphasizes seeking help from family, friends, professionals, and community resources. Accepting support, using respite care, and maintaining self-care strengthen both the caregiver and the person receiving care
